COCA-COLA SENDS FANS TO SOUTH AFRICA TO WATCH SINGAPORE, 12 April 2010 – While Singapore soccer fans worry if the broadcast of the FIFA World Cup™ 2010 will become a reality, Coca-Cola Singapore announced today that it will be sending two lucky people straight to South Africa to watch the games ‘live’. Up for grabs is the Grand Prize - a pair of tickets to watch the quarter final game (Match #57) of the FIFA World Cup™ 2010 in Port Elizabeth, South Africa on July 2nd. Return tickets as well as accommodation for three nights will also be included in the prize. The winner and his partner will depart Singapore on June 30th, and return on the July 3rd. Starting from 15 April, members of the public who purchase a 1.5L, 500ml PET bottle, six-can or 12-can pack of participating brands will be in the running for the pair of tickets. Besides the Grand Prize, there are also a total of 2439 exciting prizes to be won from 15 April to 30 June. These prizes consist of Sony Bravia 32” LCD TVs, as well as Adidas World Cup merchandise like jerseys, country caps and soccer balls. To win, consumers have to SMS a code found beneath the bottle cap or internal panel of the multi-can packs. Each code is considered as one entry. Every 12-can pack will contain 2 codes, which entitles its buyer to send in two entries. Participating brands in this promotion include Coca-Cola, Coca-Cola light, Coca-Cola Zero, Sprite, Heaven and Earth Green Tea range and Western Tea range, F&N, and 100PLUS.
